WHY NOT!

Wednesday morning, 9:40.

Shhhh! I don't usually want to write about this kind of thing on the official website.

But let me tell you something... Well... my online game friend invited me to play a game on a weekday morning.

What do you think?

"At this time in the morning?!" was my first thought. But at the same time, I felt like, WHY NOT!

Wait, I've somehow become the kind of person who thinks, "At this time of day?" Ewww, maybe I do have some common sense after all.

I'm sooo thankful to have a friend who can casually invite me to play a game on a weekday morning, without thinking twice. I really liked that feeling.

"No special reason. Just because you want to. Whenever you feel like it."

I never want to forget this feeling when I'm making things, either. (Yes, this is where the story connects to my creative life.)

For a few days before that, I had this idea in my head that I wanted to make something like a living creature.

I don't need all those grown-up reasons and complicated thoughts.

I just want to let things come out naturally!

And somehow, what came out was a snake scarf.... WHYY!

Such a straightforward idea. Surpriseeee..

I'm usually the kind of person who gets caught up in little details, makes things complicated, or deliberately tries to take things in a direction that's different from the obvious.

But sometimes, I just want to make something simple...

Without "trying" to make it look more artistic than it needs to be, or forcing some clever twist into it. Just making the thing I feel like making.

That's the WHY NOT spirit.

I want WEDNESDAY 9:40 to be alive.

Sometimes it might turn into clothes, sometimes creatures or accessories. Sometimes I might not even know what it's going to become yet.

But this time, it's this LONG SNAKE!!
