You can cut a large amount of fabric neatly at once using a rotary cutter, but since I create my pieces as if I were painting a picture, I cut each piece by hand with scissors and finish them with raw-edged frills. The design feels intuitive rather than mechanical. To make the frills feel "alive" rather than just "kawaii," I don’t make them all at once in bulk — I finish each piece one by one, adjusting based on balance and feeling. The knitted patches are also created using a knitting machine, adding another layer of texture and individuality! Yay!
