BLABLA’s original knit patch mixes shades of gray and navy with red accents. The design features girls with quirky unique hairstyles, along with ghost and heart motifs, with messages from BLABLA Nurse like "Kawaii yo" "Don’t Worry" and "Don’t Stop."

One of my patients once shared a “Hairstyles That Boys Don’t Like” ranking, and ironically, every hairstyle on that list was one of my favorites!! That made me want to create something that encourages people to keep their own styles, no matter what trends or opinions say.

The design process starts with a pixel art-like approach, where I fill in each square one by one. Then, I load the pattern onto the knitting machine, where each row of yarn is woven into place. The result is a one-of-a-kind fabric. It is incorporated into the clothing design.
